Marinated Grilled Steak
4 9 oz. steaks
2 1/2 cups dry red wine
1 Vidala onion, quartered
2 TBSP Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, crushed
salt and pepper
4 large portobello mushrooms
olive oil
Fresh rosemary
Marinade
Combine red wine, onion, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Pour over staeks in a shallow dishing. Refrigerate covered for 2-3 hours.
Remove steaks from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow
then to reach room temperature.
Sear both sides of the steak on the grill for about 1 minute. Cook
for 4-5 minutes on each side.
Brush the mushrooms with olive oil and grill for 5 minutes, turning
them once.
Add Fresh Rosemary branch to charcoal to flavor the meat and mushrooms.
Remove meat and let rest for 2 minutes.
Slice mushrooms before serving.
