Vegetarian Recipes
Aromatic Rice
1 cup of raw rice
1 teaspoon of salt
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 two-inch stick of whole cinnamon
10 whole cloves
1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorns
In a medium saucepan with a tight fitting lid, combine all ingredients
with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover pan
and cook 25 to 30 minutes or until liquid has evaporated. Let sit cover
for 5 minutes.
Remove cinnamon stick and serve.
Serves 4 people.
